British Championships - Chess Solving Competition

The British Chess Problem Society (BCPS) is pleased to announce that a chess solving competition will be held at this year’s British Chess Championships, Coventry 2015. It will be controlled by Grandmaster (Composition) Christopher Jones.

    Date: Sunday, 26th July 2015
    Time: 19.30 – 21.30pm.

The competition will comprise two sections and no entry fee!:
  • Open – Open to all.
  • Minor – For those with an International Solving Rating (or half-rating) of under 1700, or, in the absence of such a rating, an otb FIDE rating of under 1700 or an ECF grade of under 135.

There will be a total prize fund of £100, provided by the BCPS.
