Mike Lexton Wins the Silver Rook for 2011
Congratulations to Mike Lexton on winning the 2011 Silver Rook competition, with 6½ points out of a possible 8. Mike was followed closely by Patrick Fitzgerald who scored 6 out of 8, which was a fine performance with two noticeable scalps in the form of John Simmons and the winner, Mike Lexton.
Mike was awarded the trophy by Mrs Mararet Dean (daughter of the late Norman Lavers) at the club's AGM on 13th June.
This year's competition was a single league, all-play-all format.
