Aidan Ellis wins Handicap Cup for 2012

On Monday 25th June, at the last club night before the summer break, the annual Summer Handicap Cup rapidplay competition took place, with 24 club members participating. The format was a six-round time-handicapped competition, with the 16 minutes per game allocated as shown below.

Many congratulations to Aidan Elllis, who won with an impressive 5.5 points out of 6. David Bower and David Phillips tied for second on 5 points. In joint fourth place with 4 points, Andrew Smith impressively achieved parity with our esteemed President and Secretary. The full standings table was as follows.
