How to set up a digital clock

Switching on

Press the on/off button located on the underside of the clock.

Setting the timer

When the clock is switched on, the left hand screen will show a flashing number. This should be changed using the +1 button, until the number 3 is shown. If the number is larger than three, the number will scroll from 32 to 01. The OK button should then be used to select this. The times should then be set to 1:20.00 for the all in 80 minutes, and 1:15.00 for the longplay. This is done one digit at a time, using the +1 button to adjust the digit and the OK button to accept it.

Once the final digit has been accepted, the clock is started using the Start/Stop button. If you make a mistake, press the on/off button twice to restart the process.

During the game

Initially, the clock will show hours and minutes. However, when a player has less than 20 minutes remaining, this will change to show minutes and seconds.

In Game adjustments

The lever on top of the clock is used in the same way as on an analogue clock. To pause the clock, do not try to press both sides of the lever at the same time. Instead, simply press the start/stop button. To restart, simply press the start stop button again. To add time in the longplay game, first pause the clock by pressing the start/stop button. Then hold down the start/stop button for approximately 3 seconds, until the numbers start to flash. These can then be adjusted in the same way as for setting the clock.

Ending the game

If a player runs out of time, a flashing bar will show on their side of the clock.

Switching off

After use, please switch the clocks off using the on/off button and place them back in the cupboard.
